Welcome
to the inaugural edition of Novelletum, a
magazine that provides an outlet for non-professional
writers and artists, especially undergraduate students.
Novelletum accepts fiction, poetry, screenplays, plays,
essays, reviews, and art work.
We chose the Latin word novelletum for our magazine
because it is a place planted with young trees or vines
(Lewis & Short Latin Dictionary). It is our hope that
this magazine provides ample space and opportunity
for young artists and writers to grow.
The magazine is published in November and April of
each year by a staff of William Woods University
students under the direction of Dr. Katricia G. Pierson.
If you would like to submit your work, please refer to
the submission guidelines. If you are a William Woods
student and would like a position on the staff, please
